Tips & Touches for Post-Holiday Comfort Fiesta

Turn roast turkey into great sandwiches for midnight snacking, or dice and use in chili or shred and use it in breakfast enchiladas or quick tacos.

 

Stock the pantry

Have a stocked cupboard for unexpected house guests. We like to have hearty tortilla chips, pasta, bottled salsa, canned beans on hand for a quick batch of chilaquiles, chili or mac and cheese. A supply of cheese, eggs, sour cream and cilantro in the fridge gives you many brunch options.

 

Fresh green salads with simple homemade dressing and cut veggies will refresh even the biggest overeater.

 

Keep an assortment of teas, including chamomile to ease digestion, on hand to soothe tender tummies.
