Today is RECIPEACE DAY!
Recipeace is a social movement created by Leo Burnett and Peace One Day, a UK-based non-profit organization, to bring people together over food in support of Peace Day on September 21. Nothing brings people together better than food, and the Recipeace movement symbolizes the importance of peace on both a global and individual level. Leo Burnett has partnered with a UK-based non-profit organization called Peace One Day to help create awareness about Peace Day, coming up on September 21. Through a social movement called Recipeace, Leo Burnett aims to bring people together over food to settle their differences. By visiting recipeaceday.org, people can get involved with the movement by pledging for peace and by dining at one of the 60 plus participating restaurants in the Chicagoland area. |
