|Behind the Scenes Baja: Episode 8|

Our first episode about Tijuana focused on the unexpected: the city's little-known role as the home of the Caesar salad, and super-modern cooking at Mision 19, among other places. But of course, a trip to Tijuana is not complete without sampling some incredible street food!
Our taco crawl (with one unplanned stop at a tiny torta spot that we were told no one should miss) was one of our favorite days of the whole trip. From wood-grilled carne asada to griddled shrimp and cheese to some very unusual "queso tacos" with a layer of crunchy "cheese chicharron," we sampled the range of Tijuana's finest taco creations!
