Sesame Slaw with Black Beans | Print |

Makes about 8 cups   

  • ½ head green cabbage, cored, shredded, about 6 cups
  • 1 cup shredded red cabbage
  • 1/2 of a small red or white onion, finely chopped, rinsed
  • 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, drained, rinsed
  • 2/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup Frontera Red Pepper Sesame BBQ & Grilling Sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro or parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt to taste                                                                                            
  1. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Refrigerate 30 minutes or more to allow flavors to blend.
