Serves 4

  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup fresh tangerine, orange or Satsuma juice
  • 1/3 cup gin
  • 2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
  • Cracked or crushed ice
  1. Make a simple syrup by simmering the sugar in 1 cup water in a small saucepan until the sugar dissolves completely. Pour into a glass jar and let cool. Stir in vanilla.
  2. Mix ½ cup of the simple syrup, lemon juice, tangerine juice, gin and sweetened milk in a glass pitcher.
  3. For each drink, fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add ¼ of the juice mixture and shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Pour into a stemmed glass ice and all.
